By understanding the rehabilitation services we offer, you can make well-informed choices. Occupational Therapy gives people “the skills for the job of living.” Occupational therapists (OT) evaluate and treat patients to improve functioning in daily life activities such as getting dressed, toileting, bathing, cooking, and recreational activities.  Aging patients dealing with physical disabilities resulting in pain, decreased range of motion, decreased strength, or impaired ability to perform gross motor skills (transfer from one position to another, standing, walking, etc.) would benefit from physical therapy services. Physical Therapy also plays an active role in wound care management (inpatient and outpatient). Speech-language pathologists evaluate and treat patients to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing.
